Our Mission
At Henrik’s Troopers, our mission is to ensure children with cerebral palsy have access to the life-changing care they need. We provide financial support for families in the UK seeking Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery, which is not funded by the NHS, helping children achieve a better quality of life.
Our Story
Our oldest son was diagnosed with spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy, at a young age. At just 4 years old, he underwent selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) surgery. Through this journey, we came to understand how difficult it is for many families to access the surgery. This experience inspired us to take action and to help families overcome the barriers to obtaining SDR surgery.
